Training on photography for humanitarian and development
HDI runs a training course on photography for humanitarian and development organizations. HDI recognizes the power of photography as a tool for documenting of the work of humanitarian and development agencies. Photographs capture social change in dramatic ways that can compellingly communicate the difference programs are making in people lives. Our training is designed to enable participants better understand technical elements photography — such as composition, exposure, lenses and lighting — while developing their skills to capture poignant photos that demonstrate the positive impact of development and humanitarian work on individuals and their societies.
